And return.

This campground is upgrading so many features it is so great to see this small business occupy such a small rural town. It would be awesome if some Internet giant would provide much needed internet and cable service. This is a wonderful campground to get away from the hustle of the city! Staff is very friendly, especially the owner and as a woman, I am so proud that this "woman owned" business is a refreshing change of pace. Stacey Ashwood, husband Richard, father Mike are wonderful, courteous and very informative. Helpful as they can be, helping so many during the hurricane and storms, offering a refuge until so many could get back to their homes. Pet friendly, and happy to provide a home away from home. The grounds are clean and wonderfully kept, grass mowed and bathroom & showers are clean. Holidays and/or other special occasions are celebrated throughout the campground and no one is a stranger! Love this place!!!

Good overnight stop on I95. Friendly staff. Clean bath house. Sites were a nice size. We travel in a 40 foot motorhome and tow a car.

Thank you for a place to rest and good luck to the management.

Quiet campground, large pull-though sites for RVs. We arrived after dark and turned too early, adding 15 minutes to our trip. Don’t turn until you’re right next to the sign, which is very well lit. Dog friendly with pet play area. With few choices of campgrounds open in the winter along this stretch of Interstate 95, this stop was fine. Don’t miss Doug Sauls’ BBQ, well worth the 20-minute ride for North-Carolina style vinegar-based pulled pork. The fried chicken is the best we’ve ever had! Since this is not a restaurant review site but a campground review site, I’ll stop here.

If you have a large RV you will not be able to level. Tried many different sites. The owner was not very helpful and became very angry that we could not level—to the point of banging on my RV. Not very nice.

If you are looking for a site for the night try Carolina Crossroads at exit 171. Great level sites, clean and friendly staff.

Nice, clean KOA....campsites and facilities were maintained. TV reception was not the best, but all in all great place to stay for the night. Close easy access to I-95. I recommend
